During most of her career Jean has been an enthusiastic proponent of painting from life, and thus the beginnings of her smaller landscape paintings are almost always executed outdoors.
In addition to landscape painting she also executes still lifes and figures from life in an alla prima method; that is, from start to finish in one session.
Jean can be seen here painting in all four seasons and in all types of weather.
